Today Digest is a morning snapshot email of everything on your Workflowy [Calendar](/help/plan-with-calendar) for that day, delivered to your inbox at 8 AM.

# When to use

Use Today Digest when you plan from Calendar and want a simple daily reminder in your inbox of your day ahead.

Today Digest works only when [Calendar](/help/plan-with-calendar) is enabled and has content in it.

# Turn on Today Digest

1. Open [Today Digest settings](/today-digest/)
2. Turn on **Today Digest at 8 AM**
3. The digest is sent based on your account's timezone.
4. If there is nothing to show for the day, Workflowy does not send an empty digest.

To turn Today Digest off, use the same screen from above.

# Build a better digest

To make Today Digest useful, give Calendar something meaningful to show:

- Move tasks to today with `/Move to today`.
- Add date tags to items that should stay where they are but still appear on a date.
