This template is a very simple layout to get started using Tiago Forte's BASB (Build a second brain) framework. In essence, it's a very useful system for outsourcing part of your long term memory and for transforming bits and pieces of information into more useful chunks you can repurpose later. BASB is based on another of Tiago's systems, the PARA system. This system provides a simple way to organize all the information in your world in a way that surfaces the most actionable things. Once you' have a place for everything, the build a second brain method then shows you how to continuously refine, distill, and ultimately share that content.
PARA is a part of the BASB method, but you can use just the PARA system if you're not really interested in building a second brain for yourself. You can learn how to use the PARA system from another one of our useful guides.
