When to use

Quick Capture lets you instantly save text or links to your Workflowy inbox from anywhere using a simple keyboard shortcut. It's the fastest way to jot something down without opening the full app - perfect for capturing ideas on the fly.

Capture text

  1. Win+Alt+N**(Windows) or Opt+Cmd+N (Mac)
  2. Paste the text or link you want to capture
  3. Press save

Enable or disable quick capture

You can enable and disable the quick capture keyboard shortcut from the window settings (location depends on your operating system).

  1. Find the 'Window' settings for the Workflowy app
  2. Toggle the. 'Quick Add Shortcut' option
  3. The app will restart with the setting change
