Connect other apps and API

Connect Workflowy to other tools to bring content in automatically.

Workflowy integrates with a handful of tools for piping content in from other parts of your life. The goal in each case is the same: reduce the friction of getting things into Workflowy so it can become the place where everything lands.

Readwise

If you use Readwise to collect highlights from books, articles, tweets, and podcasts, you can sync them directly into Workflowy. Connect your Readwise account from the integrations page and your highlights will appear as a structured hierarchy automatically.

Kindle highlights

If you annotate books on a Kindle, you can import your highlights by uploading your My Clippings.txt file from the Kindle's documents folder. Your notes will be brought in as structured content.

Zapier

Zapier lets you send content to Workflowy from thousands of other apps without any code. Set up a Zap with Workflowy as the action, point it at a node in your document, and new items will be created there whenever the trigger fires. Useful for routing emails, tasks, RSS entries, or form submissions into Workflowy automatically.

Note that Zapier currently supports sending content to Workflowy but not the other way around.

API

Workflowy has a basic API if you want to build your own integrations. You can find the documentation at workflowy.com/api-reference
